A researcher and a practitioner — in the same brief.
I work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and decentralized infrastructure: as a doctoral researcher studying how AI and blockchain are reshaping the Swiss economy, and as an advisor helping organisations put these technologies to work responsibly.
My research asks the question most vendors skip — not just whether a technology can be deployed, but whether people will trust, adopt, and rely on it. That distinction is where real value, and real risk, actually live.

For leaders in the public sector, healthcare, and utilities — domains where accuracy, privacy, and accountability are non-negotiable — I translate frontier technology into deployments that survive scrutiny. The result is fewer stalled pilots and more systems that earn their place.

AI adoption, trust, and concern among residents and businesses in Ticino.
Co-authored with Sophie Hundertmark, generative-AI researcher at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). A survey of 116 respondents on how AI services are used, and what people fear about them. Read coverage →
The finding that matters for deployment: alongside near-universal use, privacy and reliability remained the dominant concerns. Adoption and distrust coexist — which is precisely the gap a well-governed deployment has to close.
